A process similar to the NHBC CQR (Construction Quality Reviews), however our approach is tailored to suit your business model, your specification and it looks further than compliance with industry standards. It identifies departures of site delivery from project specification, such as substitutions and alterations creating departures from the design information with minor or serious consequences.
If you need to improve cost control through consistency in your company’s specification, the CQIs are ideally suited to identify departures from your company’s standards. We will advise on areas of workmanship and/or materials in need of improvement to mitigate defect and/or compliance risks.
Project benchmarking is a Quality Audit process which extends beyond the construction stage. It includes a desktop study of the design and procurement information combined with the lead designer interview and site inspection. The purpose of this process is to verify that the design intent is expressed correctly through the design & specification package.
Also, the procurement of materials & selection of subcontractor/s doesn’t create any unintentional deviations and the workmanship on site delivers this design intent in compliance with building regulations and business quality standards.
Often this process highlights areas of incomplete or incorrect design information, unsuitable specification, or inadequate communication.
